The final toy

This is the last toy I'm making for this year.  I'm not overly thrilled with it, but I guess it looks a little like a cat if you REALLY use your imagination.

- The quilters among you might find THIS of interest!

- Sometimes the simpler things are the most welcome gifts as THIS can attest.

- If you know someone who is a fan of chickens, perhaps they'd like THESE!

- I don't know if any of you might have need for THIS but throwing it in, just in case.

- There are lots of great gift ideas to be found HERE.

Today's quote... (disclaimer:  This is not my artwork, nor is it my poem...sadly!)

  1. I LOVE the poem and the drawing! Is this your work? I love it and it rings so true with me. Your cat is cute. I want to make a monster for my adult son-but I think I will make it from a thrift store sweater.

    1. Alas, no - I can't draw and I can't write poetry either (well, I have been known to but only under great duress).
Thrift store sweaters would make great monsters!

  2. I doubt if the future little owner of the toy will worry about how cat like it is! It's lovely.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
