There have been several additions to the landscape as you can see...
- THIS is a really pretty scarf design.
- For those of you with an over-abundance of fabric scraps after your Christmas-making frenzy, perhaps THIS might be fun. And if you have yarn bits leftover, how about making THIS.
- I wouldn't mind some of THIS appearing at Christmas time (well, anytime, really!)
- THESE would be a fun edible gift
- And if you're wanting to serve a charcuterie board, HERE are some ideas.
- If you're searching for a quick gift for a neighbour or friend, how about THIS
Today's quote is from Steve Maraboli..."Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you"
Beautiful! The stones are amazingly real.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf, baked Cheezits, and the charcuterie.
Thank you - the stones look real because they were printed onto fabric and then appliqued into place. There's more detailing to go on them yet, but the base is laid down.
DeleteLovely progress on the landscape. It's shaping up already.
ReplyDeleteBit by bit - and judicious application of the ripit tool here and there!
DeleteGosh, I'm blown away with all the texture in your newest project. And that punch of red is magnificent.
ReplyDeleteThe red is a bit too in your face at the moment - hopefully it will tone down somewhat as I go along
DeleteYour landscape is really coming together beautifully...I especially love the stream section--you've really captured that so well...
ReplyDeletehugs, Julierose
The stream was a bit tricky to accomplish and there's more to do on it yet.
DeleteYour landscape looks amazing - I do love the water and the rocks!
ReplyDeleteThank Jillayne!
DeleteNice addition to the landscape, this is a lovely design. I love the color of the wheel, you are very creative.
ReplyDeleteCatherine
The wheel has been toned down somewhat since this photo was taken so hopefully it doesn't 'stick out' quite so much. It's an evolutionary process.
DeleteIt seems like this is coming together quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting there but there's a lot to do yet before I'm done with it.
DeleteI see that all that digging through scraps of cloth was all worth while. How beautiful it is already!
ReplyDeleteI'm still digging through scraps - currently trying to find what I need to create trees.
DeleteSherry of createology: I do see progress and it is coming right along. My Grandma loved Water Wheels. I certainly am praying your weather allows your Son and family to safely come visit on his only day off in forever. Bundle up and stay warm and safe my friend. Most of the hustle and bustle is winding down and it is time to enjoy the Wonder and Magic of Christmas. Holly Jolly…
ReplyDeleteAlas, we're the ones that will be doing the traveling if we do get together so we'll have to wait and see. Storm is due to hit overnight and last into the weekend.
Deletethanks for the links, I too posted a knitting pattern link from Raverly today. Merry Christmas to you and your family from Southern Ontario.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoy the links Gill - and Merry Christmas to you from another Sountern Ontario gal!
DeleteYou've already made so much progress on your newest creation! Very exciting to see it taking shape - thanks for letting us all in on the progress. And that scrappy stitch sampler shawl is going into my pattern folder, thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI'm having fun with this landscape - each thing I add changes it. Glad you found a link to a pattern you like!
DeleteWow, this looks amazing already!
ReplyDeleteIt's coming along but slowly.
DeleteMary Anne this is looking magnificent! Can't wait to see it progress further! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine!
