Today, on the eve of the Christmas weekend, I leave you with a collection of quotes that I hope you enjoy...
"My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others" (Bob Hope)
- "The way you spend Christmas is far more important than how much" (Henry David Thoreau)
- "Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most" (Ruth Carter Stapleton)
- "What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps....means a little bit more" (Dr. Seuss - How The Grinch Stole Christmas)
This is Resident Chef and I's Christmas wish for you:
Comfort on difficult days,
smiles when sadness intrudes,
rainbows to follow the clouds,
laughter to kiss your lips.
Sunsets to warm your heart,
hugs when spirits sag,
beauty for your eyes to see,
friendships to brighten your being,
faith so that you can believe,
confidence for when you doubt,
courage to know yourself,
patience to accept the truth,
and
love to complete your life
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Merry Christmas both! Enjoy your day.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas is really rather silly I suppose but I've loved it ever since I can remember. There are several versions but I like the old original cartoon.
