Today's quote..."There are people who would love to have your bad days"
Maybe make Autumn Leaves???? Those colors look like our turning leaves....we have had two blustery days here--so--lots of leaves already on the ground as it has been SO DRY--no rain or very little--throughout this past summer...
ReplyDeleteI am doing my rain dance daily (not a good visual though hahaha)
hugs for a great weekend Julierose
You're on the right track! Really hope you get some rain before winter sets in.
DeleteFor great cardboard art, check out Art Shaped by Darrell Wakelam. He's wonderful and a great teacher.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen his work before so thank you!
DeleteI am not sure, but I know it will be good! I love those fall colors!
ReplyDeleteThe trees are starting to turn outside so fall must be on my mind!
DeleteSherry of createology: I see some glorious fall colors here and maybe a new landscape? Amazing Artists links. Yes to this quote…whenever I see someone worse off than me, it resets my feelings and thinking. Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy mother had an expression 'it's never so bad that it couldn't be worse' (I'm sure it's not a saying that was hers alone). Yes, maybe a new landscape....
DeleteA quilted jacket? Love the colors
ReplyDeleteMuch as I would like a quilted jacket I'm not about to be the maker of one.
DeleteI just made a patchwork pumpkin pillow cover out of squares and half squares like that, but just different colors.
ReplyDeleteYou can do a lot with squares and HST's and I'm enjoying playing with them for a change of pace.
DeleteI am looking forward to seeing what you do with them, you are very creative and knw just the right colors that work together.
ReplyDeleteCatherine
It's coming together and hopefully I'll be able to share an update on Monday.
DeleteFresh out of guesses I'm looking forward to seeing what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteI don't normally play with 'sane' quilting designs but this one is proving to be a fun experiment.
DeleteA landscape of a rock quarry? Can't wait to see what you're making!
ReplyDeleteGood guess! I think the counter top showing behind the fabrics might certainly give that impression.
DeleteOh, I thought that was a larger piece of fabric. Yes... it probably caused everything to look like stone prints. lol
DeleteI realized that after your comment....oops!
