The other night I took these off the needles...
My usual generic sock pattern and the yarn is 'Silly Socks Flower Pop' by Hobbii. Heading where else but the Christmas box.
- I think THESE are so pretty! Looks easy enough to do too. Scroll down to see some of the pretty variations.
- Some of you might like to give THIS a try.
- Have a peek through the gallery of THIS amazing artist.
- I love THIS, although I know I would never wear it myself.
Those are cheerful socks. Somebody's going to be happy.
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will like them. I like having a pair of socks on the needles so I have something I can pick up whenever I have a few minutes.
DeleteSherry of createology: Great fun socks dear. I adore the little felted animals. I tried needle felting once. It is not my forte.
ReplyDeleteI agree - the felted animals are indeed cute. Not my forte either, but I do admire them from afar.
DeleteNeat socks!!:)) I went through a shawl knitting spree years ago, but i never find a way to actually wear them...just not my style (more of a jeans and tee gal!!) hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteJeans and T's for me too - shawls just keep falling off and getting in the way so I haven't developed a need for them. I know other people like them though.
DeleteOne of these days I might challenge myself to make socks. You're amazing to have so much in your Christmas box already.
ReplyDeleteI work on the Christmas box pretty much all year so it's not so much of a rush at the end. At least that's what I keep telling myself!
DeleteVery nice socks!!! Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thanks! Hope they will be well received come Christmas time.
DeleteOpening each suggested site is like opening an unexpected gift. You never know what wonderful inspiration you will find. Thank you for all of them.

Glad you enjoy the links Pamela - and thank you for the comment! It's fun for me to search them out and I only post things that I find interesting or fun.
DeleteNice links. The pine needle baskets will be fun to make this summer.
ReplyDeleteIf you live in an area where there are pine trees it would be fun to attempt making baskets.
DeleteHappy happy socks! Someone will wear them with a smile, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteThey're certainly different!
DeleteCool socks! I love that wrap.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the recipient I have in mind will like those socks.
