Come back on Monday for the grand reveal of the latest landscape, as well as possibly a sneak peek at the next one.
- For a whole trove of awwww-worthy sights, go HERE and scroll down.
- Because dandelions are prolific right now (at least in this area!), perhaps you might like to play with one (or more) of THESE ideas.
- There are some more awwwww's HERE.
- Have a peek at the gallery of THIS artist.
- I think THIS is well worth reading (although, to be fair, it is slightly bent towards Canadian consumers but I think most of it pertains to everyone). Scammers are getting more and more sophisticated all the time and we need to educate ourselves in order to keep safe.
WOW scarey times we live in these days with all those fraudsters out there lurking...
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing your finish on this one..;))) hugs, Julierose
Yes, it pays to be really vigilant because the baddies of society are coming up with ever more clever ways to scam us. Too bad they wouldn't turn their talents to doing good for the world!
DeleteAnother landscape on its way? After the current one? There's no stopping you!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say - I'm a tad obsessed?!
DeleteJust got a call from a survey company asking if I would take part. I asked how long it would take, was told 10 minutes and then when I said that would be fine... they hung up!!! I hate survey calls almost as much as scammer calls.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the landscape reveal.
God bless.
Don't trust survey companies - they're more often than not a scam! And don't ever respond with 'yes' if they ask if it's you (by name) speaking. Saying 'yes' can get you in a world of trouble if they're up to no good.
DeleteSherry of createology: Hello Dear. You sure stay busy. I love the Wonder Zoo. There are lots of goodies here. Smoking Hot here too!
ReplyDeleteI get bored if I don't have something to do. I've never been one to sit and do nothing.
DeleteI'm not surprised you're starting another landscape quilt! I can't imagine just sitting in a chair doing nothing, our passions keep us busy, and definitely not bored! Thanks for all the links. Those felted animals are adorable. Dandelions, at the farm I grew up, they were just weeds, nuisance and the seeds spread everywhere! Good it's proved to be useful.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were growing up dandelions WERE considered noxious weeds and were to be eliminated at all costs. Now the thinking has changed and people have been made aware of the benefits of them, particularly as early food for the pollinators.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the links!
So much fraud. The grandchild-in-trouble phone call is amusing -- and there's a recent novel about a duped grandma who decides to track down the scammer. (Mrs. Plansky's Revenge by Spencer Quinn). I'll look out for Sherples among the Sharpies! LOL.
ReplyDeleteYes, with so much fraud these days it almost wants you to drop out of social media and go off the grid altogether.
DeleteThe dandelion list will be useful.
ReplyDeleteRead you Monday!
There are lots of dandelions out there right now - don't suppose picking some to make one (or more) of the 'potions' will be a problem.
DeleteYep, same scams everywhere.
ReplyDeleteUsing brushes. What will an artist us next? Abundantly cute.
I certainly would never have thought to create art using brushes (at least not that type anyway).
