Jammin'

Over the weekend Resident Chef and I made tomato jam (which we like better than strawberry and most other jams).  See?....

Recipe is courtesy of Boud (thank you!)

- I thought THIS was really interesting and a great use for sheep wool.

- I know THIS is from 2010 but stunning quilts are stunning no matter WHAT the year!

- THESE are awwwww-worthy!

- THIS would be a nice project for fall.

- THIS would be a nice quilt to make using your scraps.

Today's quote is from Nelson Mandela..."Fools multiply when wise men are silent"

  1. I'm glad you like the jam. I find people enjoy it and can't identify what's in it. They're surprised that it's tomatoes and lemons.

    1. Most people haven't had it or at least so it seems. We far prefer it over most other jams.

  4. I make a tomato jam, but it is more a savory type than something I would eat on toast.

    God bless.

  5. I just got one of those memory pix things from Google showing that today three years ago I made a batch of that jam! The jars in the sunshine look so good.

  6. I would love the opportunity to taste tomato jam. I'm not a big jam person, but you have made me very curious what this must taste like. It's a pretty color in the jars. :)

  7. Don't believe I've ever had Tomato jam. I must see if some of the Amish/Mennonites around here sell it.

    1. There are two things called 'tomato jam' - one is savoury and the other is sweet. This one is sweet.
