Yes, the wheels are turning as I contemplate how I will turn this photo into a new landscape...
The photo, once again, used with the
kind permission of Dale Stewart
- I hope you don't need THIS, but here it is, just in case.
- THIS, I thought, was awwww-worthy.
- I know THIS is a paid pattern, but it made me laugh.
- THESE are cute but I'd be tempted to sew them.
Today's quote..."One minute you're young and fun. And the next, you're turning down the stereo in your car to see better"
The cough syrup is an oldie but goodie reminder, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten about it too, so will have to keep the how-to on file for future reference.
DeleteSuper picture choice--love that front "shabby" grill on the truck!! You should have fun replicating this one...can't wait to see it...
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julierose P.S. Happy March 1st--"can Spring be far behind?" Hoping....
This one spoke to me (like so many of Dale's photos do!) so it should be fun to recreate.
DeleteAs for spring - it was on the news yesterday that we have had the warmest February on record. Very little snow here (hope I didn't speak too soon) and that's a concern for the water table as well as the possibility of forest fires. I almost wish we'd get snow to make things a little less dry.
Hmm, I will have to keep the cough syrup recipe in mind. I don't need it now, but next winter it would be very useful.
ReplyDeleteLove the new photo. Good luck with the landscape.
God bless.
I just have to remember where I filed the recipe AND, better yet, remember it at all!
DeleteI'm glad you have this unquenchable compulsion to create that we get to following along for, Mary Anne. Looking forward to your next quilt.
ReplyDeleteYes, the compulsion to create landscapes doesn't show any sign of abating, at least not yet!
DeleteSherry of createology: Ah…another lovely photo to become your fabulous fabric landscape. Easter is very early this year. This quote is right on! Sunshine and very cold wind today.
ReplyDeleteHow can I not want to make landscapes when I have photos like this to inspire me.
DeleteMy Dad had a green truck like that once upon a time when I was little. Were all of them green?
ReplyDeleteI have no clue, but I'm sure they came in different colours.
DeleteI am amazed that you are so quick with your landscapes!!! xx
ReplyDeleteI can easily spend at least five hours a day working on a landscape so that helps them develop quickly. Lucky me to have a Resident Chef that does all the cooking (and helps with the housework too).
DeleteThat photo looks very promising!
ReplyDeleteHis photos are always great.
