Mr and Mrs Santa's workshop

Over the weekend RC and his Mrs were quite busy in the kitchen as you can see from this list...

Chocolates ✔
Fudge ✔
One batch of cookies ✔
Lip balm for ladies ✔
Lip balm for men ✔
Beard oil ✔
Dry chili jarred gifts ✔
Labels for the above items ✔

- Although THESE are made with fancy papers, I think they could easily be translated into fabric and perhaps a brown paper bag?  I found that idea among THESE.

- THESE would add the perfect touch to a handmade gift.  There are more HERE. And HERE.

- THIS is really pretty and a great use for scraps.

  1. Well, I'm old, not so creaky, not fat, but I hope I'm at least wiser than when I was young and making mistakes! My mistakes are different ones now.

  3. Your busyness in the kitchen sounds like fun - I love doing things like that though I am the RC so it's all down to me. I love that label and packaging idea too!

    Great quote there by anon
The part about 25 year olds, nah. It is better to look at 70 year olds and wonder if he likes coffee and walks. Real life is better than time on what will never be again.

  8. I couldn't care less about my age, but I care quite a lot about my abilities, and balancing on the line between pushing against and accepting limitations.

    1. Age is just a number, at least in my opinion anyway. Learning to accept limitations is a whole 'nother issue!

    1. When I started making most of the gifts back in the day it was a cost-saving measure but now it has morphed into an expectation by everyone involved.

    1. Our kitchen is too small for us to work together so we end up taking turns...whatever works!
