Ta Da!!!

Yesterday I put the finishing touches on the latest landscape and here it is...

It measures approx. 26x22"

FOR SALE!

...and...here's a closeup of the finished corner...

- THIS little fellow is rather cute, and I think he could be done in either fabric OR wool.

- HERE is another of my random things you might want to know.

- There are lots of art quilts to be seen HERE.

- If you're interested in weaving, perhaps you'd like to check THIS out.

Today's quote..."I get most of my exercise these days from shaking my head in disbelief"

  1. What a beauty this art quilt is!! I love the way the grasses butt up in front of the truck making it seem so dimensional--lovely work on all that floral embroidery too ;)))...hugs, Julierose

    1. Wish my camera was better equipped to get better pictures of some of the landscapes. No matter what I did this one didn't want to cooperate.

    1. It seems to have become my 'thing' to add flowers and grasses to the landscapes. For some reason they don't feel finished without them.

Sherry of createology: Mary Anne Dear you have created such an interesting and detailed landscape with the hexies and embroidery. It evokes a wonderful nostalgia of simpler times. Your links are always a delight in eye candy. This quote could be funny if not so true these days. Happy weekend.

    1. Resident Chef got over his dislike of the hexies when he saw the finished design so I guess I did something right. It was a fun experiment anyway.

    1. I simply have to add flowers, otherwise I don't think it looks complete.
