Better!

I'm sorry that I totally forgot to take a picture of the offending building that I ended up tearing out and re-doing.  Some would say that was just as well.  And...here is the current state of affairs...

- AND - just to send you right 'round the bend (I'm happy there)...how about checking THESE out?

- And if the above link didn't send you into orbit, how about checking some of the links found HERE?

- Oh, and then scroll down through  THESE

(are you sensing a theme here?)

- And how about spending some time watching THIS?

- And HERE is another crazy-making thing (or then again, maybe not?!).

And, instead of a quote...

  1. Your current landscape is shaping up fast.
About the art prompts: I'm baffled by the concept. I'm pushing back on the tidal wave of ideas rushing at me, more than looking for more of them. But I accept that some people like them. Just one of those mysteries of life and art..

    1. Good thing we're not all the same in our outlook - makes life far more interesting. I'm not an 'art prompt' person either but I have a few readers that might like to play around with it.

  2. The quite can say, "I'm twisted happy." lol

Very nice. The far right church, could it have small spires on the 4 corners for balance?

    1. Re the church - google 'The three churches of Mahone Bay' and you'll see that the original doesn't have spires. I'm aiming for semi-realism - or at least that's the plan!

  3. Sometimes the subconscience takes over and does the decision making for us. I love all of Carol Thelen's videos. She seems so humble. Her explanations are very easy to follow, and always has great tips and ideas.

    1. I have no art training so I have to go with my gut feelings and hope for the best with varying degrees of success.

  4. I think it's great that you trust your own instincts and follow them. And as usual I impressed by how quickly you go from an idea to visualizing the whole thing and building it, leaf by stone.

    1. I know what I like but don't know the reasons for that - or even if I'm right, but at least I'm having fun.

    1. Oh yes, I'm definitely twisted! My friends often tell me I have a totally warped sense of humour (not quite sure if they mean that as a compliment though!).

  8. You are so creative, the Church's are amazingly beautiful in fabric, they look so real.
I have a twist myself and love it.

    1. The churches are a departure from my usual preference for abandoned buildings, but they're fun to work on.
