Nothing but mumblings

Sorry folks - I have nothing to show you because I've been living the life of sloth for a couple of days.  Christmas 'stuff' is done, wrapping is pretty much done, and I've been taking it easy.  Puttering is happening, but it's hard to take pictures of puttering.

- For those of you who love crazy quilting, or even are hoping to learn, Sharon Boggon has a new book out and you can find out more by going HERE.

- HERE is another awwwww moment!

- There are lots of uses for something like THIS

- If you're contemplating making a temperature blanket in 2023 perhaps THIS might be valuable.  Even if you're not thinking about a temperature blanket it's fun to look through the web site.  Best pour a cuppa before you go though!

- I might have posted a link to THIS before but another dose of cuteness never hurt anybody!  (Thanks, Val!)

- Shhhhh - Resident Chef doesn't know it, but he's getting some of THESE for Christmas.  Instead of flimsy tea towels, I got bathroom hand towels for extra absorbency.  He doesn't use aprons but if he did, I'd make him some of THESE too.  Wouldn't a matching set make a great gift?

Today's quote...."When you choose joy you feel good and when you feel good, you do good and when you do good it reminds others of what joy feels like and it might just inspire them to do the same"

    1. I'd like to make one of those bowls - but it's one of those things that will take up permanent residence on my 'wanna-do' list I suspect.

  4. The dish towel design is excellent if you have a handle to hang them on. I still have the tattered remains of a couple of button-over-crocheted-top type that a coworker gave me years ago, but now I can't button them anymore because my fridge has no handle, my oven has no handle, my dishwasher has no handle...no wonder I can never seem to get a grip!

    1. Good heavens - I thought all appliances had handles! I must be living in the dark ages.

    1. They're not hard to make. Resident Chef likes them hanging on the stove handle so he can dry his hands easily. If he uses a regular towel half the time it's on the floor so at least these stay put.

Sherry of createology: Love the kitchen towel idea. I was never allowed to twiddle my thumbs when I was young so now as an adult (I am the Mother now) I find JOY in twiddling my thumbs sometimes. Great Links dear. Happy Holly Jolly…

    1. Thumb twiddling is rather over-rated if you ask me, but then again I tend to get bored easily

  7. Awww... it's the pink cheeks on that amigurumi baby. And those knitted animals are pretty sweet.

    1. The problem with puttering is that I get bored and then who knows what might happen
