Completed set

I had leftover yarn from making this hat that I showed you previously so thought I might as well use it up and made another of the scarves to go along with it...

If you want the scarf pattern, I posted it HERE.

And the latest thing to come out of Resident Chef's kitchen (he and his new Kitchenaid are very busy!)...

These are called Martha Washington candies and the recipe can be found HERE.

- There are lots of foodie-type gift ideas HERE

- And there's more HERE (scroll down) and HERE and check out THIS post for dozens of ideas for gift giving.

- If you're searching for ideas for ornaments to make, have a look through THESE.

- If herbs are of interest, perhaps something HERE would be fun to make.

- And HERE you will find lots of ideas for mason jar gifts.

- The knitters among you might find THIS of interest.

Today the quote is by Leo Buscaglia..."Don't spend your precious time asking "Why isn't the world a better place?"  It will only be time wasted.  The question to ask is "How can I make it better?".  To that there is an answer.

Sherry of createology: You certainly have will power…sampling only one candy! Poor RC would have to make another batch if I were there. Haha So many great gift ideas and easy enough to make them theme appropriate for any occasions. Nice quote if only it could be put into action by everyone on this planet. Blessings Dear.

  9. You are such a wiz with those needles. I'm very tempted to make that candy if only I were still working and could bring it in to share. Thanks for all the links too. I've pinned a few ideas.

    1. I spent pretty much every evening in front of the tv knitting so manage to get quite a bit done. As for the chocolates - they're going into gift giving with only a few saved for us to sample over the winter.
