Two more!

I just finished knitting two more hats for the Christmas box...

Pattern is the same as the one I showed you the other day.  There might be a couple more of these done before Christmas but now I'm switching gears to socks because I have a commission for four pairs that the buyer wants for Christmas.  Those should take me awhile to do.

- I suspect THESE are AI-generated but aren't they spectacular? (scroll down to see what I mean)

- THIS is a different take on the log cabin design.

- I thought THIS was really pretty.  If I had nice curtains that would lend themselves to it, I'd be making some.

- Maybe one day I might make one of THESE.

Today's quote is from  Elie Wiesel...."We must take sides.  Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim"

    1. The Box is actually part of a cupboard and it's nowhere near full yet. That's because the things I've been making are all small items so I can stuff lots more in there.

  3. I've never made a stitch sampler book -- always wanted to incorporate the stitch into a current work, despite several tries. Your Chrissy hats are great as always.

    1. I made a sampler book for the stitches on my sewing machine but have never done one for hand stitches.

    1. I like the hats too and might make some more before I'm done. Just wish I liked colorwork with all the necessary untangling a bit more.

  6. Love those knitted maple leafs and how great to have a commission to knit socks. That quote is so meaningful in these times isn't it.

    1. We need to show our Canadian patriotism so I figured these hats would be a great way to do that. As for the socks - it will likely take me months to do four pairs because I'm a very slow sock knitter.

  8. I do have drapes that would benefit from those pretty tie-backs! But my "Necessities" list is long...

    1. Yes, the necessities need to come first.
