The hydro crews are working miracles in their efforts to get power restored to so many areas. God bless the crews that came from other provinces and areas to help out. We're now hearing the sounds of wood chippers and chainsaws which are another sign of progress.
Introducing "Foggy Morning"
measures approx. 29x25" (click on picture to embiggen)...
FOR SALE!
And....whatever do you suppose this might turn into??
- Most of THESE are 'awww-ism's' (scroll down)
- There are some good tips HERE for cleaning your sewing machine.
- I rather like some of THESE and they don't look hard to make. Dusting them, however, would be another matter!
- Oh! - THIS is such an awwwww-thing!!
Today the quote is from Stacie Martin..."We should be lifting each other up and cheering each other on, not trying to outshine one another. The sky would be awfully dark with just one star"
The neutrals look like the start for a cobblestone-sort-of background. Glad your power is back!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you're right (and yes, we're glad to have power too)
DeleteIt's heartening to hear the sounds of recovery after a storm. I hope that's the last of it for now.
ReplyDeleteI heard from a friend that their power just came back on after nine days - we are definitely blessed where we live.
DeleteLovely Foggy Landscape finish;))) the fog shrouded barn in pink is the perfect touch...
ReplyDeleteNice your power has been restored...hugs for a good upcoming week--with calmer weather...Julierose
Thank you Julierose! And yes we're certainly hoping for much calmer weather. Supposed to be getting more snow later today and tomorrow. Winter just doesn't want to leave!
DeleteSherryofcreateology: Your landscape is fantastic. I love the foggy look of the barn and all of your embroidered flowers. I see the Yellow Brick Road on the way to the Great Wizard of OZ! Fun links. Great quote. Happy week dear1
ReplyDeleteI hope I managed to give the effect of fog...it was a 'try it and see' experiment.
DeleteYellow Brick Road - I like that!
Hmmm, cobblestones.... bricks.... who knows what magic you will create from those.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I'm hopeful that what I have in mind will work out but won't know until I get further in the process.
DeleteYour "Foggy Morning" looks fantastic - well done! It's a beautiful interpretation of the photo, I especially like the embroidered flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour fog pieces gave me the idea to try to use it somehow and I'm happy with the end result. Thanks for the inspiration!
DeleteGreat job on the fog. I like the emphasis on the flower.
ReplyDeleteHmm, Looks like you've run into a brick wall?
Brick wall...that made me laugh, thank you.
Deletewell, you definitely accomplished fog! brilliant! and beautiful flowers, too...
ReplyDeletei dunno what those will be - at first glance i thought you were making pasta (and that made my stomach growl - ha!) for lasagna ... hmmm - that is sounding tasty, innit?!?
Thanks Dianne! Pasta - nope (you definitely DON'T want to eat what I'm playing with).
DeleteNice job on the fog...I wondered how you would manage that! It's snowing here again today, but the kind of snow that invites a camera, not a shovel. I may be able to prep my small raised beds tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI wondered how I'd manage it too! Woke up to more snow this morning but it's not the kind that will last (hopefully).
