Two days of having other commitments in the afternoons means I haven't progressed very far on the landscape and so really don't have anything to show you. So...you can guess what that means, can't you....
Perhaps to allay your boredom with links, how about I share a recipe from the Resident Chef?
- I know it's not Christmas and I risk incurring your wrath by pointing you towards something that is Christmas-y, but...if you want to try your hand at making THIS, you'll need time to collect the raw materials.
- Some of you might be interested in making THIS
- Have a peek at the amazing creations of THIS artist!

Today's quote..."There are four very important words in life: love, honesty, truth, respect. Without these in your life, you have nothing"
I haven't been able to sew these past few post-covid-shot days either--but hope to get back to where i left off today...
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julierose
Covid shots can throw you for a loop so it's best to just rest as much as you can.
DeleteThe dry clay can village is gorgeous! On the miniatures ink, I kept looking for the miniature lemon. lol
DeleteI thought so too - but it would take awhile to collect enough cans to make it, which is why I posted it now rather than waiting until closer to Christmas.
DeleteSherryofcreateology: RC’s Oat Cakes are right up my food chain. Oh the days of eating Pringles and saving the cans! Ong gone but i do adore her lovely village. I also adore the miniatures Ms. Lemon creates. Love, Honesty, Truth and Respect…Amen!
ReplyDeleteI have never liked Pringles so I won't be making the village, much as I'd love to give it a try.
DeleteI love miniatures. I was gifted three store front kits that need to be finished. Some great ideas on that link you posted.
ReplyDeleteI love miniatures too and had a dollhouse at one point but don't have room for it here so had to sell it.
DeleteGot to try those Oatcakes. Love the village, but man that would be such a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Hope you like the oatcakes!
DeleteOoh, thanks for sharing. I'm willing to try it. Definitely with chocolate chips!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the choc. chips but the RC prefers to make them plain.
DeleteI got my Covid vaccines up to date and my flu shot as well. You have a lovely blog 😊 Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada ❤️ 🇨🇦 😀
ReplyDeleteWelcome! We're up to date on all our shots (but I wonder about measles now because I really can't remember if I had them when I was a kid - surely I did). Nice to know you're from Canada (we need to stick together these days!).
DeleteSo sorry. I meant to tell you that I am also a senior...68 years.
ReplyDeleteMe too - narrowing in on 71 in July.
DeleteLooks like Resident Chef feeds you well. That's really nice on busy days.
ReplyDeleteYes, he does indeed!
