That title sounds like it should be a song title doesn't it! And yes, RC and I have been busy little elves and most of the wrapping is done. All that's left is to add the jars of relish/jams and those we'll leave until the last minute...and the cookie/baking tins. I'm a happy camper because we're a whole week ahead of schedule...woo hoo! I still have to write the Christmas newsletter and address the cards - but who knows when the postal strike will be over and we dare send anything via the mail.

- THIS is an awwwww-thing!
- THIS caught my eye. Wouldn't it be pretty with Christmas balls in the bottom?
- There are some nice ideas for gift-giving HERE (scroll down).
- THESE are an awwww-thing too.
- THIS might be fun to make (and would be nice in Christmas colours too).
- Although we haven't made THIS (yet!) it would definitely make a nice gift! Scroll down to get the recipe.
- There are lots of gift ideas HERE.
- If you know someone with a sweet tooth, perhaps something HERE would be the perfect gift. Or perhaps something HERE might suit.
- THIS would be a great gift! And for a coffee-lover in your life, how about THESE? (scroll down)
Today's quote is from John Holmes..."There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up"
You're so industrious! Now you can kick back a bit.
ReplyDeleteStill have to decorate (that's the job for today) and then finish the baking (RC) and weigh and parcel up the box heading out west. Then I think there might be a few days off, unless people start calling wanting to be social. I leave room for that in December. School buses are cancelled today so that must mean we're going to be in for some weather, but no sign of it yet.
DeleteI like the little bird ornaments - saving that one :)
ReplyDeleteI like that one too! Don't need any more ornaments though so I won't succumb....unless I make one for someone else!
DeleteWOWSERS!!! I am impressed I haven't even begun to shop yet!! i am still recuperating from our Turkey day celebration here.
ReplyDeleteMy "get up and go" definitely "got up and went" yesterday...This is a designated day of rest....Love the funny dancers...
hugs, Julierose
You have a double whammy with your Thanksgiving being so close to Christmas...at least ours is in Octoboer so there's some time in between. I like to have as much done as I can before Dec. 1st so I have the rest of the month open for anything socially that comes up.
DeleteStill working on a few gift ideas here and family keeps adding to my list as now a Sister in law has decided we should invite a brother in law for Christmas supper as she no longer wants to. Good for you on being ahead.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
How nice of your SIL to add to your work load! My list is pretty much done, I hope!
DeleteY’all are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI hope the mail situation works out soon.
Salty Pumpkin here. Using phone, anon shows up sometimes.
Happy Holidays!
May
We're hoping the postal thing will soon sort out, but it's not looking hopeful at this point. Oh well, those that look for a Christmas correspondence from me will likely get it sometime in May at this rate....
DeleteGood thing you are ahead, cause it feels like we lost a week this year.
ReplyDeleteThe year has flown by - seems like just last month it was January.
