Grandma's jammies are being churned out at a fast clip (although still waiting for some measurements I need to finish them off). 4 adult-sized lounge pants 👖✔; 1 pair kid-sized pj's ✔; 2 more pairs kid-sized PJ's cut out and ready to sew ✔. About half done on the PJ front and hope to get a lot done today and tomorrow.
the ones I'm making!

Today's quote is by Lewis Carroll..."The secret, Alice, is to surround yourself with people who make your heart smile. It is then, only then, that you will find Wonderland"
You are really moving along so well on making those PJ's :))) e finally got rain yesterday --about .75" so needed with all these wildfires springing up in our State. Have a wonderful weekend--hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI have a target date for shipping in mind so it's going to be a whirlwind of creating here at Chez Magpie. So glad you got rain!!
DeleteWhen you fire up the production, there's no stopping you! I'm guessing these are particularly welcome to tall family members who can't easily get their sizes? It must be thrilling to get a shipment from you.
ReplyDeleteYes, the PJ bottoms started because our boys were always stuck wearing flood pants and now it's morphed to our daughters-in-love and now on down to the grandies. Grandies get tops but the adults don't. They prefer to wear t-shirts and those they are able to get themselves.
DeleteHello MA: These are adorable PJs and you are making adult sizes also you are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank-you for the great links, that knitted scarf is beautiful in the first link.

Oops - should have put a disclaimer on that picture because they're not the ones I'm doing (image came from the internet). Rectified that now!
DeleteYou are certainly a busy one. How are you going to ship them? I am hoping that the postal strike ends very soon.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I never ship Canada Post after one year when they bounced a parcel destined for our family in BC back and forth across the country - multiple times. I think it went through the Calgary sorting depot three times, returned to Toronto, and then back out west. They got it in time for Christmas, but only just. Now I only use UPS. They're a little more expensive but (so far) they deliver on time.
DeleteI appreciate the JOY pillow. That's one pattern I actually don't have. You know I collect everyone I find.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue what my blog is doing to you. First no notifications, then a double whammy. Regardless, I fully appreciate every single commit.
Santa's Helper is outdoing all of us.
Glad I found one that you don't already have!
DeleteAnd yes, I don't know what's going on with your blog and my end. I haven't had the disjointed posts showing up in my feed from anyone else I follow. As long as you know it's happening and know that I'm either making comments totally strangely and not ignoring you altogether.
