Grandma Jammies? Done and dusted!

Yes, the Grandma Jammies are done!  Four pairs of kid-sized (tops and bottoms) and four pairs of adult-sized lounge pants.  All waiting to be wrapped up and gifted.

***************

Just a little public service notation...during our downsizing efforts we found several towels, sheets and blankets that we no longer needed.  None of them were worthy of donation to a thrift store but the local animal shelter was more than happy to take them.  Perhaps you could keep that in mind when getting rid of such items.

- IF I were a sane quilter and IF I did more in the way of decorating for Christmas, I would love THIS!

- Perhaps THESE might make a good gift for someone?

- Have a look through the gallery of THIS artist!

- I thought THIS was really pretty.  And THIS one too.

- HERE's a cute little project that would make a nice gift.

- If I had space to display THIS, I'd love to have it with my winter decor.

- And HERE is something, just to make you smile.

Today's quote is from Shira Tamir...."Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dance in the wind"

  1. That's quite some output! I hope they can get in the mail at some point.

    1. They won't be going via the post office - we'll courier them (which is what we usually do, just to avoid Canada Post and their ongoing issues).

  3. Super job getting all those "jammies" done in time for Christmas giving;)))
We have my daughter with her four coming to dine with us and my son and family for Appetizers--needless to say, I have been running around getting all the comestibles in-house ready for cooking!!
My DIL, Lindsay, and our eldest grandson, Steven, (my daughter's son) are also celebrating birthdays so I got their gifts wrapped up today...tomorrow will be the "deep clean" [despite that both families will be bringing their doggies!! hahha..] thankfully I have "Super-Tom" to help me...I think I need a nap now....
    hugs, Julierose

    1. I think you and Super-Tom both deserve a nap!!! Enjoy your family time but be sure to build in some rest periods too.

  5. Phelps has beautiful creative work. Some puts me in the mind of your landscapes.
I'm about to make bowl cozies, but mine collapse to save space.
    Congrats on finishing the jammies.

    1. Yes, I thought so too - probably that's why her work caught my eye.
I've never made bowl cozies but might have to!

  6. Thanks for the link to the very thorough instructions for bowl cozies! After years of using a single bowl cozy bought at a craft center, I had a hard time finding more. I finally commissioned a set from another blog-pal, who does a lot of quilting. She even sent me a picture of many fabric pieces she had on hand, so I could choose - what a treat! The cozies were made to fit my rectangular pyrex containers and I use them every day. Maybe when I can use my right arm and hand a bit more, I'll get brave and try to make some cozies myself :)

    1. I'm sorry to say I've never even made a bowl cozy - or used one either. I suspect maybe I should rectify that!

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
