You knew it wouldn't last!

My hiatus from doing landscapes is over and we all know it was only a matter of time.  Finding that piece of  lightning fabric in my stash was the impetous and you can see my progress....

- THIS is another of my awwwww things!  Each one is cuter than the last.

- Those of you who enjoy water colours might find THIS of interest.

- I've never made a sock monkey but I thought THIS was really cute.

- THESE little fellows are another awwwww thing.

Today's quote..."Actions prove who someone is, words just prove who they pretend to be"

    1. Glad you like it Julierose - I'm hopeful that it will be okay in the end but for now I'm thinking it's a bit too 'much'.

Sherry of createology: MA Dear I just knew you would use that fabulous piece of lightning fabric in a landscape. The drama is intense! Love your links. I need to practice some of the watercolor pieces step by step.

  7. Love that landscape so far, you are very talented. I enjoyed the old ladies in the video. I was very focused on the hair, did you see how realistic it was? Another very talented person.

    1. I would love to know how they made the hair on those ladies too - they were amazing.

  8. I thought it was an interesting and unusual piece of fabric when you pulled it from your stash. Now, due to your amazing talent and imagination, it has already turned it into something beautiful. I think you framed it beautifully with the complimentary color choices for the borders. Growing up in Alabama and now living in Oklahoma, I have had an opportunity to see many beautiful lightening storms. I can hardly wait to see the finished landscape.

    1. Welcome Cora - and thank you for your lovely comment! I'm glad you noticed the use of the complimentary color for the borders. I guess using my color wheel tool worked!

    1. I knew there was a reason I hung onto that fabric for I don't know how many year (or even where I got it in the first place). Came perilously close to getting rid of it and now I'm glad I thought to translate it into a landscape.

  11. Wow! It must have been destiny to find that fabric and get this done so quickly. Thanks for the watercolor link - I've bookmarked it for sure.
