Another finish!

Our wee granddaughter is turning two this month and what grandmother doesn't know that a little girl needs wardrobe enhancement?  So, this happened...

Pattern is the Infinite A-line Dress from Bonnie and Blithe and can be found HERE.

    1. She'll look cute wearing it I know. As for the weekend - we're supposed to be getting a snowstorm so we'll happily hunker down inside.

    1. She's the first girl in our immediate family so I feel I can indulge her with all the girlie things I've been wanting to make all these years!

  3. That's a very cute birthday outfit! I hope she rocks it. About the quotation: ideas are the same way, don't hold onto them, use them, plenty more where that came from!

    1. I suspect it will be a little big for her just yet but she'll grow into it. And yes, ideas ARE the same!

  4. Adorable dress. Your sewing talent is always amazing how fast you can put things to a finish.
The quilt link is fantastic> Nice and sort of easy quilt patterns are always nice to find.

    1. Having a Resident Chef (and household helper) in residence sure helps me find time to create things. That, and the fact that I refuse to sit in front of the tv in the evenings with nothing to keep my hands busy.

    1. I found watching her videos (slowed down a bit) was helpful, but then again I'm not a garment sewer so it's a learning curve for me.

  6. What a cute dress.
I am going to try Resident Chef's idea on only reheating part of the Eggplant Parma next time I pull a container out.

    God bless.

    1. I'm learning as I go when it comes to sewing clothing. The last time I made anything other than for our wee grandie was when I was in high school and that was a miserable failure.

    1. Hope it fits her but I suspect it's going to be a little too big just yet. Wonder what Blog-grrrr has stuck in their craw now...seems like it's always something.

    1. Well, for me it's not quick because I'm on a big learning curve. I've never sewn little dresses before so it takes me awhile (and several bits of reverse stitching) to get it right.
