Ta Dah!!!

T'is done!  The buyers requested a wind-blown pine, some birch trees, water and a canoe so hopefully I've given them all they asked for.  This one ended up measuring 27x23" and included applique, machine and hand embroidery, organza, paint and colored pencil.

SOLD!!

And...remember those two fabrics I showed you the other day?  They have been reduced to this...

Now, I wonder, what do I plan to do
with them next?

- I found the creations by THIS artist to be quite interesting...and beautiful.

- THIS would be a fun bag to own - and would make a wonderful gift too (note: you can click to download the free pattern and you might have to create an account, but there are tons of free patterns so it's worth doing)

- Some of THESE are really clever!

- THIS is a great thing with lots of uses.

Today's quote...."You may not always see the results of your kindness, but every bit of positive energy you contribute to the world makes it a better place for all of us"

  1. I'm going to have to try to work ponderment into a post...I love it and I seem to do an awful lot of it. The results of my ponderment are not nearly as glorious as yours. I've been looking at this piece up close and it is so beautiful! Everything about it is just perfect and I also love the slightly larger canoe anchoring the right foreground in just the perfect shade of red. How talented you are!

    1. awwww, thank you! As for the 'perfect shade of red' for the canoe, it came down to what I had in my stash because I wasn't about to go out and buy anything.

Sherry of createology: Mary Anne this is a superb landscape you have created. You have done everything your client requested and how special that it is sold. Kindness Acts are such an easy thing to do for others. Our world could use a lot more Kindness!

  7. Congratulations on your completion. I imagine there is stress with commission work, but it's sold vs the relaxation of creating a piece that might take a while to sell.
The street art made my day. It doesn't take much to make my day these days.

    1. You're right in that there IS stress with doing a commission. This one was a bit easier because it's for friends.
Glad you enjoyed the street art!
