More progress on #3

Over the weekend I got more done on the third scissor pouch...

I want to add a bit more around the image and then it will be ready to put together.

- Karen Ruane has announced her latest online learning class called 'Artist Book Explorations' and you can find out more HERE.

- Have a look at the amazing work by THIS artist.

- If you crochet, some of the ideas on THIS pinterest board might interest you.

- And HERE is another artist whose work you might like to see.

Today's quote..."You never really know the true impact you have on those around you.  You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them.  You never know how much your kindness turned someone's life around.  You never really know how much someone needed that long hug or deep talk.  So don't wait to be kind.  Don't wait for someone else to be kind first.  Don't wait for better circumstances.  Just be kind, because you never know how much someone needs it"

    1. If only there was a whole lot more kindness in this world - just think of what it would be like. Common sense and kindness, we need more of both.

  6. The quote makes me want to tear up remembering a kindness when it was not expected. I can only hope I have made someone feel that way.

  10. GEEEEEEZ!!!! The details on this are over the top gorgeous!! The little flowers and the beads . . . you are amazing! My daughter learned to embroider when she was doing study abroad in India a few years ago. She has picked it back up and when she sent me pics of what she had done I was stunned. I'm hoping she embroiders something for me that I can incorporate into an outfit or something :)

    1. Thank you Lauren - embroidery is one of my passions and it's pretty easy to lose lots of hours with needle and thread. Hope your daughter DOES make something for you!
