Over the weekend I got more done on the third scissor pouch...
I want to add a bit more around the image and then it will be ready to put together.
Today's quote..."You never really know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them. You never know how much your kindness turned someone's life around. You never really know how much someone needed that long hug or deep talk. So don't wait to be kind. Don't wait for someone else to be kind first. Don't wait for better circumstances. Just be kind, because you never know how much someone needs it"
Your stitching is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you Vicki - I've had lots of practice!
DeleteLove the work you're doing. That quote is great - and saved!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorraine. Glad you liked the quote too - there's certainly a lot of truth in it.
DeleteA scissor pouch is a nice project to have next to the TV clicker. Beautiful needlework
ReplyDeleteYou're right - probably a whole lot safer than balancing my scissors on the arm of my chair!
DeleteAlways be kind is such a wonderful attitude to have throughout one's day, isn't it. Love this quote. Love too, they pretty progress you have stitched on your scissor pouch.
ReplyDeleteIf only there was a whole lot more kindness in this world - just think of what it would be like. Common sense and kindness, we need more of both.
DeleteBeautiful! Really love this one! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteMe too! I hope to finish it tomorrow if all goes well.
DeleteThe quote makes me want to tear up remembering a kindness when it was not expected. I can only hope I have made someone feel that way.

Sometimes it those little unexpected kindnesses are just what a person needs the most and it's amazing how often they happen.
DeleteI love that quote, so much so I'll be printing it out - as I need the reminder. And love the pretty embroidery and embellishiments, too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great quote too - too bad more people wouldn't pay attention and live by it.
DeleteLove everything about the Scissor Pouch. Love the quote -it's a good reminder and never hurts to be kind to others.. I have saved it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the quote - words we can all take to heart and share to others I think. Thanks for the kind words re the pouch too.
Deleteaw bless you! Thanks for the shout out....you're a star.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! More than happy to point people towards a good thing.
DeleteGEEEEEEZ!!!! The details on this are over the top gorgeous!! The little flowers and the beads . . . you are amazing! My daughter learned to embroider when she was doing study abroad in India a few years ago. She has picked it back up and when she sent me pics of what she had done I was stunned. I'm hoping she embroiders something for me that I can incorporate into an outfit or something :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lauren - embroidery is one of my passions and it's pretty easy to lose lots of hours with needle and thread. Hope your daughter DOES make something for you!
