Small finish(s)

Over the weekend I finished the bookmark I showed you the other day and also made another one.

Today's quote is from Fred Rogers..."Some days doing the best we can may still fall short of what we would like to be able to do, but life isn't perfect - on any front - and doing what we can with what we have is the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else"

  1. DotPebbles makes another great animal! Thanks for the link. It's the awwww one, in case anyone's puzzled. Makes me want to get back into knitting Claire's patterns for tiny people and animals. This one's quite big by her standards.

  2. Good quote. I think people tend to be too critical of themselves.
    Beauty in bookmarks!
The Advent idea is creating lots of possible designs in my brain. A treat every day is like reading your blog. :)

    1. Awww - thank you! I'm glad you think my blog is worth reading.
Advent for adults is proving a little more challenging than I thought it would be...esp. when I don't want to spend a whole lot of $$ on it. Compounding the issue is that my friend is allergic to a lot of foods so I can't include chocolate...yikes!

  6. Both are great bookmarks, I really like the friends/book/coffee!
The mason jars are a great gift, I made banana bread in them one year for teachers.

    1. The recipients of both bookmarks are friends I've had for nearly 40 years and we've been getting together for coffee pretty much every week for all that time.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
