The last one

As you can see, there's been progress on the second chef ornament (finished one is pictured as well).  Still quite a way to go but the end is in sight.

If you'd like to see what I'm aiming towards have a look HERE.

- THESE are really pretty and would make wonderful gifts!

- I think THESE are rather intriguing too.

- Have a look through the portfolio of THIS amazing artist.  I was busily admiring her work and then I saw the section on her website where you could see her prices.  Ouch.  That's me, rubbing my butt, after I fell off my chair!!!

- THIS is a very pretty scarf design.

Today's quote..."Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are endless"

    1. I think Axelrad's art is for corporate settings so priced accordingly, to come out of the art budget. It's amazing work

    2. Yes, great work but the prices astounded me, corporate or no. Maybe I should start targeting my work towards corporations!

Sherry of createology: The Chef ornament is very appropriate nd will always remind the Littles of their Grandpa. Now one for the Grandma…knitting perhaps? I have always wondered how some folks get the big $ for their art while others get 0 to little $. I try to be kind and say something kind to others each and every day. Their surprise is my reward. Bye to September.

    1. Actually the chef ornaments aren't a nod towards Resident Chef, but to our #1 son who is a chef by trade and our #2 son who just loves to cook.

  4. Cute ornaments
Hope you are ok. Those prices are jolting.
The scarf is a nice pattern. I like a border like that one has. Your links always have the nicest patterns.

  5. Printed the dishtowel pattern. They look lovely and really would make a wonderful gift. You are moving right along with the cross stitch. Darling ornaments.

    God bless.

    1. I thought the dishtowel would make great gifts too only I think I'd use them for a face towel.

  6. The dish cloths are nice, and I'd buy the yarn from anyone but purl Soho. I made one yarn buy from them and was blitzed with multiple sales emails daily for weeks. When I unsubscribed, they doubled down. I ended up labeling them spam and blocking them. I don't think it's a great business model!

    1. I wouldn't be buying from them anyway because they aren't in Canada. Postage would be out of this world. Actually they're not the only company that refuses to acknowledge an unsubscribe - there seems to be a lot of them that ignore it.

  7. Lovely nutcrackers are done and now on to the chefs. I saw that knitted acorn and it is so cute. I need another lifetime to make all the things!

    1. Oh yes, I know what you mean about needing more lifetimes to even put a dent in my wanna-do list.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
