No, you never know what you might find when you visit here at Chez Magpie, as this will attest. This is a photo of our #4 Grandie modeling a dress that was once mine (you know, from back before dirt!)...
- If you're a crocheter, perhaps you might like to play along with THIS CAL.
- If you go HERE you can see a virtual quilt show of the contest winners from the Des Moines show.
- If you're a knitter and have problems with joining yarn mid-project, perhaps THIS article might be of interest.
- THESE are incredible!
Today's quote is from Maya Angelou..."Hate. It has caused a lot of problems in this world but has not solved one yet"
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI've been here at your site for ages catching up on all the posts. Loved your Nutcracker and it's going to be circular you say. Interesting. And I too have sunk a bit since the Queen passed away...it was a heavy distraction for sure. I've been going down rabbit holes with following your amazing variety of links too. All such creative and inspiring stuff, thank you! Meanwhile, this little child is adorable...I would love to hold her! And how precious she has your dress!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I do hope you remembered to leave some crumbs behind as you fell down that rabbit hole so you could find your way out!
DeleteLovely baby and dress! Please thank her mom for permission to post and satisfy my need to see and admire her!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly IS rather adorable isn't she!
DeleteWhat a surprise! I know we have all been waiting anxiously hoping for a picture of this sweet baby. She is adorable! I love the little dress!
DeleteWe certainly think she's adorable and it's fun to have a photo op of her wearing my dress. Just wish there was a photo of me wearing it!
DeleteWhat a beautiful photo of a lovely girl...I really think it is even more special because she's wearing your old baby dress...wonderful keepsake...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it's pretty cool that she was able to wear my old dress.
DeleteA VERY precious picture. The dress made it so special.

Yes, I was certain those pictures were photos until I read the blurb that went with them. Pretty incredible for sure!
DeleteOoooh... She is beautiful! :) How wonderful to have a picture of her wearing your little dress.
ReplyDeleteWe certainly think she's a little cutie pie and yes, it's quite fun to see her wearing my dress.
DeleteWhat a precious little baby girl! I just want to kiss her little cheeks a couple hundred times! I remember little dresses like that! In fact, in my kindergarten picture I’m wearing one so very similar!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to kiss her little cheeks too! Alas she lives a little too far away for that.
DeleteThat is just the most wonderful photo. How lovely that you have been able to pass on a dress that you wore to the little one. She is so adorable! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI don't expect she will wear it beyond the photo op, but it made for a fun picture anyway. I don't know if the fabric would hold up to actual wearing.
DeleteYou certainly do have a wonderful DIL to take the time to do this photo for you! What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteOur daughter-in-love sends us lots of pictures and videos which is wonderful considering we live so far apart.
DeleteSherry of createology: Oh MA Dear…she is so precious and to be wearing your dress is PRICELESS! Baby Grand looks as if she has a wonderful didposition. You are blessed with family that updates you with photos so you don’t miss out.
ReplyDeleteWe think she's pretty precious too! Just wish we lived closer so we could get baby cuddles in person.
DeleteWhat a cutie. She is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteYes, she's definitely a little cutie! That smile certainly melts your heart.
DeleteAdorable! It so great to see the things saved used again.
ReplyDeleteYes, I never dreamed there would be a little girl in our family that might wear the dresses so it was a good thing I forgot I had them!
DeleteOMGoodness, she's precious! She wears your "oldies" well!
ReplyDeleteShe wears everything well (not that I'm besotted or anything of the sort!)
DeleteBeautiful, sweet granddaughter. You must be so thrilled that she is also wearing your dress. I've been off the grid for many months - life gets in the way of keeping up with blogs and stuff!
ReplyDeleteWe think she's pretty sweet and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
