Wee knit

This is a really simple quick crochet hat that I whipped up for our wee one to wear in the fall and winter.

Yarn is Bernat Blanket Yarn and the pattern can be found HERE.

- If you are interested in miniatures, perhaps you might like to read Mary Corbet's post HERE.

- HERE is another great little case that could be used for so many different things!

- There's something so eye-catching about THIS design.

- THIS is a great divided tote bag tutorial.

- Those of you who crochet might find THIS to be a fun project.

Today the quote is from Suzanne Collins..."Live your life.  Take chances, be crazy.  Don't wait.  Because right now is the oldest you've ever been and the youngest you'll be ever again"

  1. The miniature museum is lovely. If you're in Chicago, check out the Thorne Miniature exhibit at the Art institute. Permanent exhibit, complete with little step up platforms for people not tall enough to see the rooms.

    1. I have read about the Thorne exhibit and how I would love to see it in person - won't be happening unfortunately.

    1. The hat was a special request so who am I to not oblige. As for the stained glass - I've always loved it so seeing a crocheted version certainly caught my eye.

Sherry of createology: Mary Anne Dear you never sit idle and the items you create are wonderful. This is such a cute little hat for those cold days that will come again. Right now we are in triple digits of 110F. Yesterday after watercolor class my car was 117F inside! Whew. Hope you and resident chef are enjoying Summer.

    1. You're right Sherry, I'm very rarely idle. Drives me nuts not to have something to work on all the time.
Wow - it has to be hot where you are!! We're doing well to be much above 70 so far this summer (maybe I shouldn't tell you that!!)

    1. I find crochet to be much faster than knitting so I end up going back and forth between the two. Hope you do learn!

    1. I hope the hat will fit her when the time comes. It's a really fast make so if I need to do a bigger size it's certainly doable.
