FOR SALE!

 "Herbie Needs Some Love"

inspired by a photo by Michael Trueman
and used with his very kind permission.
Photo was taken near Ravenscrag, Saskatchewan.

Measures approx 26 x 19"

This is the original photo...

Yes, I finally finished the latest landscape!  Took me awhile but there you have it.  I tried to do a little video for you but it's refusing to load here so I guess that wasn't such a good plan.

- Karen Ruane (embroiderer extraordinaire!) has announced her new venture and you can read more about it HERE.

- THIS is a really cute little bag that would serve so many purposes.

- Have a peek through the creations of THIS artist.

- THIS is another tutorial for a great little bag.

Today the quote is from Lisa Heckman..."In a society that has you counting money, pounds, calories and steps, be a rebel and count your blessings instead"

Sherry of createology: Your VW bug landscape is beautiful dear. The Folk Artist works are amazing. Every time I see bags to sew I want to get my machine humming…but alas never do. I do count my blessings everyday and you my friend are definitely one of my blessings! XO

    1. Well I hope I'm getting better because they do say practice makes perfect. Methinks I have to do a LOT more practicing before I reach perfect though!

    1. Herbie IS a star - at least in my mind. That's why I simply couldn't resist Michael's photo when I saw it.

    1. He couldn't be anything BUT Herbie! Although, I suppose, most young people these days wouldn't have a clue who Herbie was.

  11. You improved on the original picture, which is quite a feat as the original picture is stunning. I just noticed the wonky visor on the driver's side. It's perfect! I love all your details. The flowers, and the building adds to the quilted picture, too!
