One step forward - and one back

It was much cooler over the weekend so I was able to get the iron out and 'weave' the boards on the latest barn.  I was also able to do some embroidered flora which, upon further contemplation, I need to fix.  I don't like the background fabric and it's too late to replace it (unless I seriously want to undo two days of embroidery and then re-do it).  So...stay tuned....there's a fix in mind, but it might be a flub, who knows.

In the meantime, this is where it's at...

Today there's another anonymous quote:  "Mess?  What mess?  That's creativity scattered around the room!"

  2. Yes, I agree, you're off to a good start.
And isn't that how projects often are, 'two steps forward, one back, etc.'?
Thanks for the links. The button art pieces are full of color and texture, I wonder
    if they are heavy?

  3. Gosh, no! It’s looking great! You can’t undo 2 days worth of embroidery, that would be awful!!
Like the grocery bag, right up my street! In fact I made a similar bag a while ago and could add a similar fastener to that!
    Thanks for the idea.
    Hugs,
    Barbara xx

  7. Yep, this quote certainly sums up me and my sewing room. My eyes must be bleary because what I see is fabulous....your barn, flowers and the surrounding sky and landscape!

  8. Oh wow! You just opened up that barn and let us see inside. I didn't imagine this when I saw all those barn wood pieces a week ago. Bravo!
