I got nuttin, so you know what that means!!

There wasn't much happening on the stitching front over the weekend.  I did make a few more postcard-sized pieces for crazy quilting, but I've already shown you a bunch of those and I don't think seeing more would be very stimulating.  I *only* have nineteen of them waiting to be stitched.

Today your quote is from Og Mandino.... "Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight.  Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward.  Your life will never be the same again"

  3. Greetings! Thank you for telling fellow stitchers about the Xmas in July Swap - I hope to get many elves to participate ;0)
Speaking of pollinators, we used to have bee hives on our farm, but they no longer exist. Last year DH attended a 'Pollinator Conference" and got a ton of free wildflower seeds. He planted them and they went crazy! We had bees and tons of butterflies. Being the resourceful man he is, he harvested the seeds of the flowers last year and we now have enough for another 5 or 6 big flower plots.
P.S. loved your sayings....they struck home = and are so true.

  6. I so agree on the planting of wildflowers for the bees! I was thinking just the same and have done some planting already. But I have been thinking of so called guerilla planting too, which means just secretely plant them everywhere in public places :)

  8. You always share the best links! Will you be participating in the Christmas in July Swap? (It's tempting, but my pile of projects is a little overwhelming. I have 4 days to decide...) Thank you for sharing the Kindness Quilt Project info, too! What a sweet idea. As for the bees... I've been meaning to go plant some flowers all morning, but wanted to finally catch up on a few favorite blogs first. :)

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
