Kim made me a beautiful little needle book and included
the sweet Kewpie card.
There was a cute little cross stitch pattern
(which I already plan to use on a crazy quilt project!)
and some gorgeous fabric with
coordinating embroidery floss....
And do you see that amazing scissor fob in
the picture above? She made that too!
Below is a closeup so you can the back of the
needle book - isn't that fabric perfect?
Below is the inside of the needle book -
she has included two pockets for
additional storage, along with the
fabric tape measure trim.
Below is a close-up of the scissor fob -
the beads are sparkly (just as we magpies like!!)
THANK YOU KIM!
Your birthday has made me very happy!!
Today I found a quote about birthdays - "You are a wonderful source of joy. May your special day bring you an extra share of everything that makes you the happiest in the world"
I know it's not Kim's birth day yet, but
this is my wish for her anyway.
The mailman did deliver! Very cute and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI do not know Kim however she is wonderful and very generous and thoughtful. To share her birthday by giving gifts such as these is amazing. I adore all of your new treasures that are so very sweet and special.
ReplyDeleteYour postie sounds rather like the grumpy old one in the movie Funny Farm....I did smile when you wrote about him. My oh my, you received gorgeous pretties. No wonder you are a happy gal. Love that fabric with the girl with the black and white sketches. What a lovely lady is Kim to gift each of her followers with such fabulous gifts.

ReplyDeleteSuch a generous gift! And now I think I have to make beady scissor fobs to replace the old scraps of tattered yarn currently in use around here.
