I spent much of the weekend working on the final edit of Kathy Shaw's upcoming book "Crazy Quilting Volume 2 - Ribbon Embellishments" and I can highly recommend it! It's another in her series of really great crazy quilt books and I'm happy to say that, because I'm her proofreader, I get to read them first!! Lucky me!
Now, on to what else I did over the weekend...
Two more in the postcard series
Today the quote is from Anatole France...."Some succeed because they are destined to; most succeed because they are determined to"
Beautiful use of embroidery, Love it!
ReplyDeleteYes, lucky you, get to proof read, have fun.
Oh my, Ann Wood's creations are something else aren't they. Yes, I can see Ann's mosquito fitting in somewhere at your place. How exciting to proofread a new crazy embellishing book. That does sound fun. Loving your new piece of art, Mary Anne.
ReplyDeleteWow...those mosquitoes are fabulous, amazing things. Lovely postcards.
ReplyDeleteLove your two new post cards! I am looking forward to getting a copy of Kathy's latest book... I love the other one that I have! Enjoy your week! Christine x

I just love your color schemes and stitching.
ReplyDeleteNope, didn't like those mosquitoes at all. Very unusual and pretty artsy, but still a mosquito!.
xx, Carol
Ann's mosquitoes are the only ones I could tolerate, I think, unless, of course someone made some out of gold and jewels..........lol
