A little more progress & some announcements (thinly disguised as mumblings!)

I spent much of the weekend working on the final edit of Kathy Shaw's upcoming book "Crazy Quilting Volume 2 - Ribbon Embellishments" and I can highly recommend it!  It's another in her series of really great crazy quilt books and I'm happy to say that, because I'm her proofreader, I get to read them first!!  Lucky me!

Now, on to what else I did over the weekend...

Two more in the postcard series

Today the quote is from Anatole France...."Some succeed because they are destined to; most succeed because they are determined to"

  1. Beautiful use of embroidery, Love it!
Yes, lucky you, get to proof read, have fun.

  2. Oh my, Ann Wood's creations are something else aren't they. Yes, I can see Ann's mosquito fitting in somewhere at your place. How exciting to proofread a new crazy embellishing book. That does sound fun. Loving your new piece of art, Mary Anne.

  3. Wow...those mosquitoes are fabulous, amazing things. Lovely postcards.

  4. Love your two new post cards! I am looking forward to getting a copy of Kathy's latest book... I love the other one that I have! Enjoy your week! Christine x

  5. Love the postcards....again....and thank you for the heads up on the TQC....I signed up.....just what I need.....another project -HA! At least I'm never bored

  6. I just love your color schemes and stitching.

Nope, didn't like those mosquitoes at all. Very unusual and pretty artsy, but still a mosquito!.
    xx, Carol

  7. Ann's mosquitoes are the only ones I could tolerate, I think, unless, of course someone made some out of gold and
    Cute postcards.

  8. A fun job to have that's right up your alley. Beautifully embroidered postcards too.

  9. The postcards are so pretty!

  10. you have put so much work into these postcards..beautifully embellished as always. Now, when so you sleep?

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
