Interesting 'find'!

I found all the cards my parents received when I was born and thought I'd share some of them here.  Please do feel free to make copies and use them in your art!!  I would LOVE to see what you do with them.  Enjoy!! (Edited to add:  Yes, I DID crop these and obviously it didn't work....hmmmmmm!!  Be sure to scroll down!)

  2. I think that you come by your joy of collecting things naturally. As do I! This era of cards is very familiar to me. I believe my brother in Vancouver has possession of all of them. My mother had six children and I swear, kept every single card. Well, perhaps not all the baby ones, but certainly the ones we made for her. Isn't it wonderful to look back?

  3. Oh my, those are precious!
Thank you for sharing those... I'm going to have to find something to use one or two(all) of those in.
It's interesting to discover those little things that our parents kept for memories.

  10. Are these considered vintage? You can't be that old MaryAnne. Just kidding. It is very sweet that your Mom held onto these. I have a few I kept of my children and must look them up but I think when I turned a lot of stuff over to them - like all their school report cards, certificates, etc. -they might have gone also.

I hope to return to blogging tomorrow. Been gone too long.

    Hugs
