...how about a picture of a blooming thing? I was gifted the amaryllis bulb for Christmas and now am enjoying something pretty instead of looking out at all the snow.
- For those of you who like fingerless mitts, perhaps THIS pattern might interest you.
- There's an interesting discussion about sewing for others HERE.
- The quilters among you might find THIS quilt-a-long of interest.
- For those who are in the season of cold, perhaps you'd like to have a play with doing THIS!
Today the quote is from Martin Luther King Jr..."Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that"

Thanks for the gloves link. I've signed up to follow her. That's a good description of cabling.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteLove, love, love that conversation about friends and family expecting you to alter, replace or sew whatever just because you quilt--SO TRUE!! I do quilt, but I do not like mending, repairing zips, making pouches etc. just not my forte...So I guess I am an one of those: "A@@$#%^" !! :))))
ReplyDeleteWe had 4.5" of snow overnight so we are in a "Winter Wonderland" here. We've had more snow this Winter than we've had in the past 4-5 years. Being on the SE CT coast here we usually miss getting the snowstorms...but not this year!! So pretty and since I don't really have to go anywhere, being retired and all, I love it!! Hugs, Julierose
I'm one of those too and I sometimes get myself into doing repairs or such for other people because I can't say no to a good friend. It's not my thing either!
DeleteGlad you're enjoying the snow and I'll happily send you some of ours if you want it.
