- Sharon Boggon is running her TAST (Take A Stitch Tuesdays) again this year and you can find the first post HERE and read all about it. She's running a beginner version as well as a 'take it further' version for those wanting to learn more about embroidery.
- THIS is a really nice cowl/scarf pattern.
- You might find THIS article interesting (to say nothing about the eye candy!!)
This is something you might want to think about doing this year. Something positive to conteract the news that's happening around us....

The idea about noting good things might also help me remember what happened! Often I'm wondering. I also wonder if it's a good blogging idea. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteI think we all need to spend more time thinking about the good things in our lives - helps to take our mind off all the rest.
Deletethis one is beautiful, Mary Anne ... well done!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dianne!
Deleteyour textile art is stunning as always. I LOVE those jackets that lady made, they are a piece of art. I was totally confused with the Pintangle thing, so will give it a miss, as I have enough to concentrate on at the moment!!
ReplyDeleteAren't those jackets amazing? As for Pintangle TAST - I took part in it one year and I learned a lot of different embroidery stitches. It's very low-key and no pressure to take part.
DeleteLovely finish on "Solitude";))) I really love how the sky turned out especially... hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThank you Julierose! It was a fun one to create (metallic threads notwithstanding).
DeleteYou're off to a great start :)
ReplyDeleteWonder how many I'll manage to create this year....I did ten in 2025.
DeleteSherryofcreateology: Hello MA. Your “Solitude” wall hanging is very serene. Just as I wish our world would be. Kathy Knapp is an extraordinary designer and seamstress. I would wear all of her pieces..not at the same time!
ReplyDeleteYes, we wish our world would settle down, that's for sure. I don't think I'd actually wear Kathy's pieces but I sure would like to study them in person!
DeleteWhat a lovely finish!!! Thank you for sharing it's beauty with all of us.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Glad you like it Jackie - thank you!
DeleteI am really loving this! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda - it was a fun one to make.
DeleteCongratulations on your first finish of the year - its a beaut! And I love that note jar idea - I'm going to do that, so thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you - and you're welcome! We do need something good to think about these days, so I liked that idea when I saw it.
DeleteSuch a pretty landscape -- I like the sparkles in the sky! The keeping notes is a nice suggestion.
ReplyDeleteThere's sparkles in the snow too but they don't really show up in photos. I like the note idea too!
