And...it starts again!

Over the weekend I started the next landscape.  As usual, I'm trying a somewhat different approach so we'll see how it evolves.

- Some of you who are knitters or crocheters might appreciate having THIS chart handy.

- THIS is a great resource as well!  And while you're there check out the free patterns HERE.

- THIS is a beautiful pattern.

- Be sure to spend some time peeking into the galleries of THIS incredible artist!!

- And, THIS artist - wow, talk about incredible work!!!  How I'd love to see his work in person.

- And be sure you go and see THIS!!!!

- Sometimes the easiest (and cheapest) makes are the cutest as THIS will attest.

Today the quote is from Winston Churchill..."Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip"

  1. Those fiber wall hangings are just lovely, so warm and complex. Thanks for showing us.

    1. When it's at this stage I always question the wisdom of carrying on but I know it will (should!) get better.

    2. I was referring to the link to the tapestry artist, in fact. But you can accept it, too, fine by me.

  3. I look forward to the progress. Barns always melt the heart.
Esspeer has gorgeous work! One of those is a great gift for the person that has everything.

    1. I'm a huge fan of crumbling old barns (well, any old building really).
And yes - the gift for a person that has everything provided you probably have a deep pocketbook!

  5. Love seeing you back on landscapes. That stripping technique looks very familiar to me. Amazing how your scenes look like places around here.

    1. I'm glad you like the landscapes - I often wonder if people are thoroughly bored with seeing them. This particular barn is, I believe, in Alberta.

    1. I'm hoping to depict a spring scene so that led to the fabric choices for the grass area...hopefully they come across as being spring-like.
