Zip, bop and whirr....

What goes zip when it moves, bop when it stops, and whirr when it stands still?  Why, a robot of course!

Pattern is the Rem
y Robot and can be found HERE-

Sometimes I stumble across something that is interesting, but I can't quite figure out whether I like it or not.  What do you think of the wall HERE?

- THIS is a really pretty afghan design that wouldn't get boring to create.

- Have a peek through the galleries of THIS artist!

- There's an interesting article HERE about slow stitching.

Today's quote..."Being wanted feeds the ego.  Being valued feeds the soul"

Sherry of createology: Mary Anne Dear this is the cutest Robot! You stay so busy creating so many wonderful Works of HeArt. I like the boxes on the wall to display things however I am not too fond of the egg crates. Love slow stitching! Great quote. Happy Easter to you and Resident Chef.

    1. The egg crates don't really appeal to me either but I thought it was an interesting concept. I would hope they would be coated with some type of fire retardant.
Hopefully our grandie will like his new robot.

  3. Oh Mary Anne, that robot is great! How did you have time to so stealthily knit that. While we were watching you do other things, you had this going on in the background?!? Too cute.

    1. I knit (and crochet) in the evenings when I'm sitting in front of the tv with Resident Chef. Mostly I'm not much interested in what's on the tv and get by with simply listening. The rest of my day is when I sew.

    1. I'm hoping my grandies stay little for quite awhile longer so I can indulge them with fun knitted things, but somehow I think I'm not going to get my wish. They'll grow despite my wishes to the contrary!

  5. Love your little robot, he's really cute! Liked the link about the slow stitching. I am hoping to start a slow stitching project this weekend but that's only if I get all the other items on my 'to do' list ticked off! Have a wonderful Easter Weekend. Hugs Christine xx

  7. The robot is a cutie and sure to be enjoyed. I like the egg carton wall but probably wouldn't do it in a place I lived in.

    1. I rather like the robot too - I don't think I'd make it again because there's a ton of pieces involved. I think, if I did, I'd be trying to figure out a way to knit in the round.

  8. That is so cute and looks like it was TON of work!

    1. It was! Can't believe all the little pieces that ended up having to be sewn together. I can see ways to streamline the process if I were ever to make it again.

    1. I'll never make that pattern again because there's so many pieces to sew together. I like the end result though.
