ReplyDeleteThe egg crates don't really appeal to me either but I thought it was an interesting concept. I would hope they would be coated with some type of fire retardant.

Oh Mary Anne, that robot is great! How did you have time to so stealthily knit that. While we were watching you do other things, you had this going on in the background?!? Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI knit (and crochet) in the evenings when I'm sitting in front of the tv with Resident Chef. Mostly I'm not much interested in what's on the tv and get by with simply listening. The rest of my day is when I sew.

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping my grandies stay little for quite awhile longer so I can indulge them with fun knitted things, but somehow I think I'm not going to get my wish. They'll grow despite my wishes to the contrary!

DeleteThe robot is a cutie and sure to be enjoyed. I like the egg carton wall but probably wouldn't do it in a place I lived in.
ReplyDeleteI rather like the robot too - I don't think I'd make it again because there's a ton of pieces involved. I think, if I did, I'd be trying to figure out a way to knit in the round.

ReplyDeleteIt was! Can't believe all the little pieces that ended up having to be sewn together. I can see ways to streamline the process if I were ever to make it again.
