and....I digress.....again.....

I digress.....
or did I see a squirrel????

Who knows, but it seems I've gone off on a tangent.  I am woman and can change my mind.  Right?

At any rate, some of my  fabric scraps have been turned into these pieces that in turn will be turned into something else.  I know what I plan that 'something else' to be, but who knows, perhaps another squirrel might cross my path.  In the meantime....here's the results of emptying a couple drawers of scraps all over the floor and picking out pieces that would suit what I have in mind.  All I can say for the moment is that the Christmas box looks shockingly empty and these will help to fill it.  And yes, I'll share once this has morphed into something useful.

Today's quote is from Bob Marley..."Some people feel the rain, others just get wet"

    1. I've always thought that fabrics tell you what they want to be - so I guess it's my style too.

  5. Lovley pieces put together makes for a lovely idea to put together. What about a quilted jacket?
The collage artist's work is amazing.

    1. Nope. One thing I'm absolutely sure of - it's not going to morph into any type of clothing. I do agree it could, but it won't because I simply don't sew clothes.

  8. Making fabric out of your scraps and then a project sounds interesting. Amazing artists you have linked. My Grandma loved the rain and would get in her car and drive to the beach and walk along the surf and record the sounds. She definitely felt the rain!

    1. I can only imagine the sounds of the surf and rain combined - would be pretty amazing. We can hear the rain here but nowhere near any surf!
