Socks - but not the sort you fill.....

....unless it's with feet!

Another gift off my Christmas list!
The pattern is what I suspect will be my
one and only go-to:  Wise Hilda's Basic Ribbed Sock
by Kate Atherley and can be found on
Ravelry HERE.
Yarn is from Regia - the 'Pairfect' line, which
makes it SO easy to get matched socks.

Today the quote is from Wale Ayeni...."Be thankful for what you have.  Your life, no matter how bad you think it is, is someone else's fairy tale"

  2. You're welcome! I did TAST the first year Sharon ran it (at least I think it was the first one) and I learned so much. No pressure - just fun and learning. I really should play along again!

  4. Your socks looks terrific, Mary Anne! I always enjoy your links, but this time you outdid yourself. The first link has a treasure trove of lovely free embroidery and cross stitch patterns. I now want to put my yarns away and pull out the embroidery floss. But then I jumped down to the link for making gift bags and I got lost online for a half hour following links from there to wherever they lead (discovering some some great uses for my scrapbook paper hoard). Finally, I got myself back here to comment and say thank you! Okay... truth is, this isn't the first time that's happened to me. Now, if you will excuse me I'm going to check out the TAST link as well as all the others! :)

  5. Great matching socks you have knit. I am amazed that the stripes match on both socks. Great links as always. Years ago I made little gift bags from envelopes. Excellent quote! I feel very blessed. December JOY...

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
