This is a little project that I whipped up recently, using a pre-created crazy quilt block I had in my stash.
Nice to hang over the arm of a chair so your sewing tools are at hand.
Today's quote is from Samuel Taylor Coleridge..."Advice is like snow - the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks, into the mind"
I really should make one of those for over my couch arm. Thanks for the links.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful stitching caddy, Mary Anne!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours!

What a pretty sewing tool holder. How fun (or maybe distracting) that would be to look at while stitching. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't stitch in my living room chair or on the couch so it's not something I really have a use for....probably will be a gift for someone at some point.
DeleteLovely post and links. I've saved the DH idea and enjoy using my own armchair chatelaine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of the panel. It looks great. The DH idea is a very cute idea to do. You sure find very cool ideas.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty! What a lovely gift that would make too. Love the gift idea for husbands with the 12 days of Christmas and those gift basket ideas. I'm as usual doing 95% of my shopping online . . . I hate stores and crowds lol!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely gift. I'm sure whoever receives it will find it useful. Great links today too.

That's a useful, beautiful project.
ReplyDeleteStaying organized in style.
Lovely chair sewing organizer. I used to have a wonderful platform rocking chair and I have to adm I used the upholstered arm as my pin cushion. Your CQ is beautiful. Thank you for the guy gift ideas...I always struggle with those. Great quote dear. The days are flying by...
ReplyDeleteLove these little fabric sewing dealios! I don't have a chair that would hold one, but I bought a similar thing with a weighted bag at one end (a woman was selling them at a local craft shop) and I can use it at the edge of my table. I don't put much weight in it, but it's a great pocket for holding snipped-off threads, etc.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the crazy quilt block! Great place to put that TV remote too.
