Tears in my spaghetti

Yes, there were tears in my lunch spaghetti!

A parcel arrived at my door
and, when I opened it....

I cried.
I was expecting this gorgeous tussy mussy to arrive from
Adria, Pam Kellogg's sweet mother.
Pam has an etsy shop where she sells
her work, and that of her mother and her sister.

However,
when I opened the box and
peeked inside,
I also found
THIS!!

Adria had  made a tussy for Gypsy too!!

Yeah, I cried.  Jack had tears in his eyes too.  Overwhelming kindness quite obviously runs in that family!  What is even more amazing is that Adria is legally blind and she is still able to create such lovely work - obviously she's a pretty amazing lady.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ADRIA!!

***edited to add:  For those of you who don't know, Odin and Gypsy were our dogs, both of whom passed away since January.

  5. Aww that's so thoughtful isn't it.
It seems we have them for such a short time - they take over our lives just as other family members do (and don't answer back)!!
    Love your post
    Take care

  9. I had just finished reading Adria's story about getting her dog and then went to your site and found this. Between her story and these pics I am crying in my morning coffee.

I just received one of her Autumn ones and she does beautiful work. Unbelievable - she is a very strong woman.

    Hugs to you and Jack.

  15. How lovely that they should do both pieces for you. I remember feeling overwhelmed when a blog friend sent a portrait of Willow. Such a lovely lasting reminder.
As for my son and my smile? Thanks for the comment and I'm so happy you could feel it too.
