Just a topstitching fool

Yep, that's what I've been doing all day  -  topstitching on the two jackets.  NOT very exciting to show you I have to admit.  I think I mentioned here a few days ago that I hoped to get white (or cream) jean thread, but evidently they don't make it.  I ended up getting white upholstery thread which worked perfectly.
Dot Lewallen of SpeedieBeadie has created a wonderful beaded art doll you have to see!  Go here to see it and to read about why she created it.  I'm a lucky person to actually own a beaded doll made by Dot.
Pam Kellogg has another installment of her series about depression and it's ramifications and ways to cope.  This time she talks about finding your passion.  Go here to read her post.

And about these for potatoes from our garden?  They're Yukon Golds and Jack very nicely left the toe of his shoe in the frame so you can get some idea of their size.

  1. I don't know about your neck of the woods but today was humid here and a great day to spend sewing. I don't have a garden since I am not a gardener. We just planted a few tomato plants this year but those taters look really good.

  2. yummy looking taties, nothing tastes better than freshly dug spuds...k.

  3. You must have had a great garden. That's wonderful! Hey, it's good to have a reference in a photo for size, so the boot toe was a good idea. Lol

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
