Stitching right along...

Today I finished working on the sleeves for the black jacket.  Unfortunately my photo doesn't show the true black colour of this, but you can get the idea.  The lighter strips down either side of the seminole have a subtle shimmer of gold which I thought added a bit of interest.  Perhaps if you enlarge the picture you'll be able to see it better.

The jacket is now ready to put together....

  1. i embiggened it and in doing so i realised that you had actually made the seminole, i know that's probably easy for you but for me i wouldn't know where to start. Very dramatic...k.

  2. I too enlarged it and didn't see the gold but did see the beautiful job of putting the squares together. You were right on. Are both sleeves going to be the same? I bet it is beautiful in the black. Can't wait to see one finished.

Hows Papa? Does he have a birthday coming up. If so we could get together and all send him cards. Might cheer him up.

  3. I do love the look of your Seminole. It's just such a lot of work to do.

Thank you so much for leaving comments! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to talk to me. It's wonderful to know that someone is actually reading my mumblings and even more fun if I can connect with you and visit your blog.
