- HERE is a fun project that you might like to try.
- And if you have someone in your life that likes funky socks (our #1 son!!) perhaps something HERE might spark your creativity. I'm eyeing the Fraternal Twins idea and might just make a pair with leftovers with no care as to making them match. Could be fun!
- If you can't bear to throw away a beautiful calendar from the previous year, perhaps THIS might be a good use for it.
- If you, like many of us, are trying to organize your sewing space, perhaps some of the ideas found HERE might be useful.

that is a big bird!!! a REALLY big bird!!!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your finish - the grass and the skies are my favorite parts, and the hand looks like it's getting ready to plant some shade for the humans and the animals in the barn
Yes, that bird is certainly BIG - beautiful though.
DeleteInteresting that the grass and sky are your favourites because those were the parts that were giving me the most angst.
I've never had a hawk perch right outside my window! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteIt's not the first time we've seen one, but never this type. The other times it's been a much smaller sparrow hawk.
DeleteSherryofcreateology: Hello Sweet MA: Life is a whirlwind here at our home. Hubby continues to be unwell in our new year of 2026. Surgery scheduled for Feb 12th but got moved up to Jan 23rd yesterday! Now as of today…No surgery however s Scope procedure for late Feb. I cannot keep up and he remains grumpy and frustrated. Then what??? I am trying to be the dutiful wife. Let me get off my rant and thank you for your blog and links. Blessings Dear.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that your DH is going through some things - and of course that means that you're going through them too. Hope things get better for you both!
DeleteBeautiful finish and lovely photos of your views outside your window.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda! The view outside our window isn't always that exciting.
DeleteThe quilt is beautiful and I really love the birder stitching! How lucky to see a hawk that close up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki! Yes, seeing that hawk and having him stay for hours was a once in a lifetime honour.
DeleteWhat a great landscape!! At first I thought that the bird was a Great Horned Owl, until the picture where it turned it's head. Big hawk, ours do not seem that big.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
He certainly was a big bird - never seen a hawk that large before. Glad you like the landscape!
DeleteIt turned out beautiful as do all your landscapes! Wow, I thought it was an owl too at first... he certainly looks majestic xx
ReplyDeleteHe certainly was an impressive bird and not the least bit afraid of people.
DeleteAnd thank you for your kind words.
A beautiful finish, you named it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning hawk! We used to have a hawk family in our neighbour's tree next to our driveway. Sadly, the tree came down after a storm and they didn't find another one close by.
I really enjoyed working on this one and the name seemed fitting.
DeleteWe have seen a smaller hawk several times but it's the first time for this guy. He's huge!!
