A finish!

Yesterday I put the finishing stitches into the latest landscape which is, as yet, untitled.  Now it can be set aside until I see the oral surgeon in December whereupon I will gift it to him for his retirement and in thanks for looking after me for the past five years.  This one measures 18x22".

- THIS might be fun to try.

- Because it's hot, hot, hot at the moment, perhaps playing with something like THIS might be just what you need to amuse yourself.

- And because mindlessness is a good thing when it's hot, how about printing one (or more) of THESE and having fun.

- And you know you always wanted to know how to do THIS...right?

- I've often wondered about attempting THIS but then I'm leery on what it might do to my sewing machine.  Have you tried it?

Today's quote is from Albert Einstein..."Blind belief in authority is the greatest enemy of truth"

  1. That landscape is certainly ready in plenty of time. I think the rope bowl would be just as easy to do by hand. Probably easier to wrangle, too. Definitely worth trying a small test drive.

    1. Yes, I'm ahead of myself getting the landscape done but I know myself well enough to know that I need to do things when the spirit moves me.

Sherryofcreateology: Good Morning Dear MA: Your landscape is beautiful! Such a loving gift for your retiring doctor. Once again you have a perfect quote for “We the People” of America. I am doing some watercoloring and enjoying it.

  8. Congratulations on another great finish.
No, I've not made a cord basket. I would think a strong machine, needle and thread are needed, or find a soft cord.

    1. I would think so too, but I'm not about to try it. I was just curious to know if anybody had.
