The landscape, although having been worked on, doesn't look much different than it did on Monday...so...how about I show you a boring pair of socks that just exited off my needles instead?  My usual generic pattern and Paton's Kroy sock yarn.

- THIS is a cute little bag that would be useful.

- If you have some fat quarters in your stash perhaps one of THESE ideas would come in handy. And there are lots more ideas HERE.

- THESE are really fun!

Today's quote...

  1. Yes, now is what we have! The socks are great. I like how you tell us the make and type of the yarn, thank you.

    1. I use a lot of Paton's Kroy - it's not overly expensive and works up nicely.

    1. I have one more pair to knit in order to fulfill the order I have. Then I will likely cast on for a new pair for the RC.

  3. My Dad always had to have Mom purchase Kroy woolen socks. I also use that yarn to make my socks. Love it.

    God bless.

    1. I'm sure there are other great sock yarns out there but you can't beat the price on Kroy.

Sherryofcreateology: Hi MA. Your latest socks are quite pretty. I am amazed at how the yarn so perfectly makes the stripes. Wise quote and one that I often neglect by worrying about the future or dwelling in the past. Summer Smiles…108F here.

    1. I like working with 'patterned' sock yarns because they're far more interesting to knit than just plain colours.
Hope your heat lessens a bit!

  6. You've reminded me that I had almost finished a pair of socks a few weeks ago then got wrapped up in goatherding and forgot all about them. Time to find and finish those socks. Thanks.

  7. Your (not) boring socks are knit in a gorgeous yarn! And that is a thought-provoking quote.

    1. I like using patterned (striped?) yarns because they are more fun to knit. I doubt I'd have much fun working with just one colour because I know I'd get bored.

  8. I'm sure your socks won't be boring to the Receiver even if you are the Receiver.

    1. Nope, they're not for me. One of these days I'll have to make a pair for myself.
