Two things to show you today! First of all, I finished knitting this little hat for our granddaughter...
Pattern is 'Pineapple Hat' by Little Red Window Design
and can be found HERE
and...work has begun on the new landscape. It's at the state that these things always go through when I wonder why I'm even bothering to do what I do. I know it will likely get better but for now I do have my doubts.
- THIS artist does great work and it's well worth checking it out.
- THIS CAL might intrigue some of you.
- THIS you tube video show you how to add strength and stability when you're making handles for bags.
- Have a look at the pretties found in the gallery of THIS artist.
This quote made me smile..."Have you ever just looked at someone and knew the wheel was turning but the hamster was dead?"
Gorgeous hat! The VW is a very charming subject.
ReplyDeleteNice hat. I wonder if her brothers might want fruit hats, too.
ReplyDeleteThere's a request already for matching pumpkin hats for fall for the boys. Who am I not to oblige?!
DeleteI like the perspective. Looking around the side of building.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I do too! I know it's not in the original photo but I'm claiming artistic license.
DeleteLove the hat!! I should make one for Noofy.....well...maybe not!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely you should!!!
DeleteSherry of createology: Love the VW landscape project. Such a cute pineapple hat for the little Miss. Great idea for strong crochet handles.
ReplyDeleteI think our little one will look really cute in that hat. The strengthening idea for handles is a good one that now I just have to remember to do when I need it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable hat!! So darn cute!!
ReplyDeleteLove your landscape start...and the work of Natalie Margolis is amazingly beautiful...hope all is going well with you
hugs, Julierose
I can't wait to see pictures of the wee one in her new hat, but I suspect that won't happen for a few months.
DeleteWhat a cute hat. I love it.
ReplyDeleteYour landscape start is great. So very pretty.
God bless.
Thanks Jackie!
DeleteThat sweet baby is definitely going to be a trend setter in that darling pineapple hat; would love to see a picture! I am sure the latest landscape will be another stunning piece.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having faith in me! I'm sure I will see our wee one modeling the hat at some point but not likely until fall.
DeleteOh my, that is such a cute hat! Your grand daughter is going to look gorgeous! xx
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous anyway so the hat will be secondary (not that I am biased in any way!)
DeleteOooh, if my daughter had had a little girl she would have loved that pineapple hat - she loves the pineapple motif.
ReplyDeleteI think the pattern goes up to adult sized too, so it's a thought!
DeleteWhat a beautiful hat! The new landscape looks great! You should have more confidence in yourself.... you are very talented and they always turn out beautiful! Hugs Christine xx
ReplyDeleteThere's always a moment of wondering if the base of a landscape is going to come alive, despite my knowing that it always has.
DeleteOh my gosh, that hat is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI made it a tad too large for her now so I will have to wait until fall to see photos of her wearing it.
DeleteWhat a fabulous pineapple cap...and seeing the carrot cap I am tempted to do one of each for GGKs. I am never in doubt when it comes to your ingenuity of creating landscapes. You rock MA! Very interesting videos also.
ReplyDeleteThe pineapple hat was a special request from our daughter-in-love so how could I refuse!
