There's been a little more accomplished on the landscape and I don't know if it's really noticeable. The house itself has been darkened in places and I've started to stitch the detail into the wood areas. Once I've finished stitching that I will decide if I need to do more shading.
- We've all seen fabric beads before but THIS tutorial takes them a step further.
- And a scroll through THESE is pretty inspiring!
- If you're interested in the beautiful resin projects that are popping up on the internet, have a look at THIS.
Today's quote is an old poem but one that I love....

Loving that "Dust if you Must" verse--oh so true;)) [I always hated dusting!!-Vacuuming ok, but dusting ugh]
Hugs for a good upcoming week Julierose
Dusting is my most hated housework thing - I'd sooner clean toilets than dust!Delete
Good progress. Links are great. The quilter for pets, amazing, and the paper quiller is as well.ReplyDelete
Have a fun week!
Glad you enjoyed the links - always fun for me to search them out.Delete
Oh no, don't get me back into making beads! It's a trap. Oh dear. I really like her paper base, must try that. Now you've done it, Magpie!ReplyDelete

Landscape is going to be another great one! Thanks for the links.ReplyDelete
This one has the building more in-your-face than most of my other attempts so will have to see how it evolves.Delete
This old house is looking very good. The shadows really enhance the mood. Oh My! This poem really hits home.ReplyDelete
It needs a lot of shading before I'm satisfied - this is only the beginning.Delete
It's amazing how wonderfully you paint with thread. Little by little those details really bring life to this.ReplyDelete
It's definitely an evolution as I work on these....layers upon layers of shading and stitching.Delete
What a great ending to that poem!ReplyDelete
I was familiar with the poem but don't remember that last verse.Delete
My most hated task is cleaning the toilet.ReplyDelete
I see the shadows as well.
I'd rather clean toilets than dust - but that's just me. Dusting is a thankless task.Delete
Love how this landscape is progressing Mary Anne. It really looks lovely. Christine xxReplyDelete
There's a long way to go on it yet but it's showing promise.Delete
Your landscape is SO good! I love the poem! I need to post a copy where I can read it every day.ReplyDelete
