Hard to see but there's progress - and a little sumthin''

I know it's very difficult to see but yes there HAS been progress on the landscape....probably about ten hours worth of embroidery so far.  I know - I need to get a life!

Another of my evening projects involved making this little guy...

He will accompany a copy of THIS book that will be gifted at Christmas to #2 grandie.  Pattern is from HERE.

Today's quote is from John Lennon..."When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life.  When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I wrote down 'happy'.  They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life"

  1. Your embroidery is beautiful. It shows your skill and love for needlework. And that little monster is going to get a lot of love from #2 I'm sure.

    1. Yes, there's lots of stitching - 5 more hours today and not much that shows for all that. Good thing I don't get paid by the hour!

  4. MA Dear your embroidered flowers are gorgeous. They really add so much to this precious church landscape. Nibbles is adorable and will be such a wonderful gift along with the book. Wonderful quote!

    1. Thank you Sherry - I love to embroider so it's no hardship to add the flowers. I rather hate to part with Nibbles but I know he'll be loved.

    1. Thank you Christine. The wee monster is definitely cute - I haven't actually read the book it's going along with but little ones supposedly love it.
